The Senior IT Project Manager, reporting to the IT Manager, ADD Data Warehouse, will proactively partnering with ADD business clients and internal IT clients to scope, define, estimate, and secure funding of data warehouse projects.

He/She proactively partnering with Domestic and International IT  management/affiliates to identify, prioritize, and maintain project requests, enabling more effective information sharing and a more connected, empowered work environment.

The Senior IT Project Manager will work with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables, then develop and execute a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed.

He/She will manage and coordinate a mix of interrelated IT projects and activities within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Job Description:

• Analyze business processes; elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and/or strategic imperatives; envision technology to realize business needs; assess feasibility and make recommendations which often aspire to exploit or leverage novel, differentiating uses of technology

• Provide advice, assistance, and leadership in any area associated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance and effective business use of information systems for multiple business areas, with a specific focus on data warehousing projects including Business Intelligence (i.e. Cognos) and ETL (i.e. Informatica) technologies

• Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget and communicate status appropriately

• Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues, and risks will affect projects working with project team, IT management and business sponsor to gain agreement for resolution

• Act as an informal mentor or coach for more junior BSA / Project Management team members

• Indirectly responsible for the work efforts of others as it relates to project work

• Manage projects according to milestones and within budget constraints

• Establish and maintain productive relationships with all levels in the organization. 

• Deep understanding of the business, industry, solution landscape, and emerging technologies and implications for the wider business environment, with a specific focus on how Enterprise 2.0, Social Media, Digital Marketing, and Collaborative/Social Computing drive business results
• High tolerance for ambiguity
• Innate ability to navigate and influence complex organizational structures/decision frameworks, and exhibit an executive presence
• Partner with ADD Domestic and Global affiliates, Global IS, and third party vendors to develop and implement technology solutions to meet business needs
• Manage projects of $0- $5MM in business financial impact
• Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills on medium to large scale system projects
• Proven knowledge of the System Life Cycle process along with SLC documentation development experience (ie Project Plans, Process Flows, User/Functional Requirements, Test Plans, WBS)
• Demonstrated strong customer service as well as communication skills (both written and verbal, including presentation development)
• 8-10 years of experience in business analysis and project management
• Self starter
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and work on multiple projects
• Ability to perform work using existing standards, methodologies & processes
• Experience using VISIO, MS Project a plus
• Previous experience with business intelligence related projects a plus
• Previous knowledge of Cognos a plus
• Previous experience working in a data warehouse environment a plus
• Knowledge of ETL tools a plus (i.e. Informatica)
• Previous experience in ADD a plus.
