Research Associate Serving Information

directly with a team of analysts who
research, write, and publish reports to
help make leaders successful in their
roles.

Description:
The
Research Associate Serving Information
Technology Professional will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Manage
research projects: formulate a project
plan, establish a check-in process,
coordinate vendor contributions, and
manage a schedule
-
Conduct
primary research for published reports,
including developing and executing an
interview set of senior-level technology
users via telephone and online surveys
-
Conduct
secondary research for published reports
using industry sources, including
competitive assessment and third-party
data analysis
-
Assist
analysts with coordinating and
conducting vendor interviews
-
Manage
press and vendor community contacts
-
Prepare
presentations with well-formatted
charts, appropriate callouts, meaningful
titles, and a sequence of slides that
tell a story
-
Maintain
report production schedule, from
inception through publication
-
Learn and
be responsible for quantitative work
with Organization's data sets
-
Coordinate use of social media platforms
(blogs, Twitter, online community) in
the research and publishing process
-
Provide
sales/marketing support
-
Help the
sales force understand published
reports, including giving short group
tutorials on each monthly topic and
suggesting appropriate reports for
potential clients
-
Prepare
information for the marketing department
on upcoming report topics.

to two years of varied undergraduate
or postgraduate work experience

Working knowledge of word processing
and spreadsheet software

Highly organized and detail oriented

Self-motivated.
