Program Manager - Health Information
Technology will work with the technical
leadership of the organization to plan
and manage a Health IT enterprise
services support contract.

Description:
The
Program Manager - Health Information
Technology will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Work with
the technical leadership to effectively
plan and manage a health IT services
support effort ensuring that project
initiatives are completed on schedule
and budget with adherence to high
quality standards
-
Provide
thought leadership and innovation in the
application of information technology in
support of health care credentialing and
compliance standards
-
Work with
the customer to effectively scope and
prioritize project initiatives
-
Manage
relationships and communications with
all project stakeholders including
customers and end users in the
healthcare community
-
Perform
staffing
and Personnel Management
Perform
Technical
and Financial Reports and Forecasts
Perform
Subcontractor Management and Oversight
Accountable to the Customer for Contract
Performance
Perform
Cost
Control and Financial Management
Supervise
Direct Report Employees.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Program Manager - Health Information
Technology Job
-
Experience in public Health IT
enterprise operations management
-
Demonstrated experience to
manage IT support staff across
functions, like the Service
Desk, Desktop Support, Network
Support, and Datacenter
Operations while working within
a customer co-sourcing
environment will have an
advantage
-
Experience in leading IT
services support efforts in most
IT functions, and managing a
moderate amount of staff
-
Significant leadership skills
including project management,
planning, and organization of IT
enterprise support operations
-
Strong written and verbal
communication skills and ability
to brief stakeholders at
multiple levels within the
Federal Civilian Health
environment.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Program Manager - Health Information
Technology Job
-
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8
years of experience in managing
and overseeing complex, IT
enterprise support contracts
-
ITIL
foundation certification and PMP®
or PgMP® credentials from the
Project Management Institute.
