Job Summary:
The
Manager Information Technology Security will
be responsible for managing the ITS
security group.
Job
Description:
The
Manager Information Technology Security will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Establish
security standards for computing
platforms
-
Develop
and manage the organization’s response
plans for information security incidents
-
Manage
and participate in the planning and
implementation of security
administration for all IT projects
-
Serve as
an expert on security in validating
systems designs
-
Review
activity reports related to the
infrastructure security and ensure that
the information is routinely evaluated
and acted upon
-
Implement
processes and methods for auditing and
addressing non-compliance to information
security standards
-
Responsible for evaluation and selection
of security applications and systems
-
Provide
leadership and mentor employees
-
Establish
and monitor department budget
-
Provide
monthly cost projections and forecasts
spending
-
Serve as
an expert on security technology
-
Establish
and manage relationships with key
external vendors and technology partners
-
Manage
complex IT Projects.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Manager Information Technology
Security Job
-
Experience with a broad range of
exposure to all aspects of
business planning,
mission-critical systems,
systems analysis and
applications
-
Active security clearance at
Secret Level or ability to pass
a security clearance at Secret
Level and/or a background
investigation
-
In depth knowledge and
experience with concepts and
issues related to computing and
infrastructure security.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Manager Information Technology Security Job
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science or other related field or
equivalent knowledge with 8 years of
related professional experience, 3
of which were in a supervisory
capacity
-
Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP) and
CISCO Certified Security
Professional (CCSP) certifications.
