Job Summary:
The
Manager II Information Technology will
be responsible for managing and
developing the Web Application Services
team. With limited direction, He/She
will give significant direction, handle
highly complex problems, posses
extensive knowledge of policies,
standards and procedures, and have
strong communication and interpersonal
skills.Job
Description:
The
Manager II Information Technology will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Provide
direct supervision including
mentoring, performance management
and staffing decisions for a
developing teams
-
Set
team, group or service objectives
-
Participate in development of the IT
and Business Web Applications vision
-
Responsible for translating the
vision into the strategic roadmap,
short and long term goals and
deliverables
-
Manage request-driven web
development on existing platforms
-
Determine and manage priorities,
timelines and schedules
-
Interact regularly with customers to
understand their business and to
anticipate the needed IT
-
Manage business relationships
-
Review multiple team, group or
service deliverables to ensure
quality (design walk-through, test
results, etc.) and adherence to
processes, standards, and regulatory
requirements
-
Manage or actively participate in
the budget process
-
Participate in the research,
analysis, selection, and
implementation of new tools,
technologies and/or services
-
Develop, gather and measure relevant
productivity metrics
-
Workshop and training interactions
with business users as a general
population
-
Development of pre-packaged
solutions for wide-audience adoption
-
Develop internal (intranet) and
external (Internet) web environments
-
Achieve
strategic partnership with corporate
communication and HR.
