Job Summary:
The Lead
IT Business Analyst-Reporting &
Analytics will be
responsible for ensuring that the
business’s mission is supported through
effective information solutions. He/She
will be responsible for leading projects
to enhance data management, reporting &
analytics capabilities.
The Lead
IT Business Analyst-Reporting &
Analytics will act as a trusted business
partner in the management of the GIS
business relationship with the
commercial business on selected
projects. He/She will work effectively
across key functions within Commercial
(i.e. Sales, Marketing, Managed Markets,
Operations etc.), across other GIS
groups, with 3rd party vendors, as well
as with other key corporate functions.Job

The Lead
IT Business Analyst-Reporting &
Analytics will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Provide strong project management
leadership to ensure requests for
analysis are fulfilled efficiently
and effectively to meet the
information and decision making
needs of sales, marketing,
operations, and other members of
management -
Develop and implement Data Quality &
Master Data Processes, Data
Governance and other standard
practices to ensure complete and
accurate data is available in a
timely fashion in a centralized
method -
Manage the development and
subsequent maintenance of the
Commercial Data Warehouse and
corresponding analytical tools -
Serve
as liaison between sales, marketing,
managed markets, commercial
operations, vendors, and other GIS
functions on data related issues -
Identify opportunities to develop
standardized reports for repeated ad
hoc analytical requests -
Identify additional technology
solutions which can increase the
reporting & analytics capabilities,
and create roadmaps which articulate
this vision -
Forecast and manage budget for
related reporting & analytics
activities -
Learn
and follow Company GIS processes,
including adherence to Company’s
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) -
Develop and maintain strong
relationships across
cross-functional groups -
Work
with the GIS business partners to
define an information systems
strategy that will sustain the
business in the near and long term.

Skill For Lead IT Business
Analyst-Reporting & Analytics Job

Experience in commercial
bio/pharmaceutical company in the
areas of marketing, sales, reporting
& analytics, and/or operations and
familiarity with solutions for this
niche market

Significant experience as a Project
Manager working on complex systems
-
Ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously, and the ability to
provide strong leadership and team
facilitation skills
-
Prior
experience in a reporting &
analytics role, or in a position
within an information systems group
supporting reporting and analytics
strongly preferred
-
Strong portfolio, program, and
project management skills
-
Strong leadership, relationship
building, and team facilitation
skills
-
Strong business and process analysis
skills
-
Strong communication and
presentation skills
-
Strong negotiation and influencing
skills
-
PC
skills include: MS Project, MS
Visio, MS Office.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Lead IT
Business Analyst-Reporting & Analytics Job

Bachelors’ degree and 5-7 years
bio/pharmaceutical experience
-
MBA,
or a Masters in a science related
field is preferred.
