The Lead
IT Analyst Programmer will be
responsible for leading the IIMS/DCAMS/ODM/MIDIA
team. This team is responsible for
supporting MIDIA - Mayo's Institutional
Digital Imaging Archive. It is also
responsible for software development,
maintenance, and technical support for
IIMS (Institutional Imaging Management
System), DCAMS (Digital Clinical Asset
Management System), and ODM (Outside
Digital Media) processing. These
clinical image management applications
are used to acquire, distribute, index,
archive and view clinical images such as
Computed Radiography, CT, MRI, Medical
Photos, etc., through a combination of
image data collection and image
processing.

The Lead
IT Analyst Programmer will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Assist with software development and
project planning activities, as well
as provide leadership to the team
that develops and supports these
applications. The technologies and
standards used by the team include
Java, JSF, J2SE, LDAP, HL7, C++,
Unix, Linux, DICOM, HL7, RDBMS, Java
Imaging technologies and web
technologies
Participate in specification,
design, testing, and implementation
of systems to support the efficient
operation of enterprise imaging and
related clinical imaging areas
Participate in a 24x7 on-call
rotation.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Lead IT Analyst Programmer Job
Knowledge of medical imaging
frameworks, workflows and standards
(DICOM, HL7, IHE)
At
least 1 year of experience in DICOM
imaging is a plus.
Experience should include
leadership, project management and
software development opportunities
Proven ability to quickly grasp and
comprehend new ideas and
technologies
Self-directed with the ability to
work independently while actively
engaging in team initiatives and
processes
Experience working directly with all
levels of customer contacts to
effectively discern requirements,
define solutions, and prioritize
outstanding requests and issues

Demonstrated expertise in the
principles of systems analysis
concepts, methodologies, tools,
standards and procedures

years of experience developing
multi-tier web based systems using
technologies like Java, J2EE, J2SE,
JNI, Java Imaging, Unix, Linux, HTTP
and RDBMS (Sybase and/or Oracle).
