Job Summary:
The
Intern - Information Technology will
be responsible for providing Desktop
Support to Organization Operations end
user communities. He/She will perform
configuration of end user
hardware/software and network resources
for management and shop support.

Description:
The
Intern - Information Technology will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Perform
all aspects of pc hardware and operating
system installation including
application of OS patches and virus
protection
-
Configure
desktop productivity applications as
requested and maintain accurate
inventory of all hardware leases/assets
and all software licenses
-
Proactively respond to user computing
needs and resolve end user computing
issues
-
Assist in
administration of IT trouble ticket
system to dispatch appropriate
resources, log/catalog issues and
resolve user problems in a timely manner
-
Provide
end user training regarding use of
productivity tools,
network/email/internet access and other
materials for quick reference and ease
of use in order to create a more
productive/skilled end user base
-
Assist in
developing and maintaining accurate
system configurations and procedural
documentation to support divisional
disaster recovery planning and Corporate
compliance objectives
-
Perform
other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
