Job Summary:
The
Information Technology Supervisor, under
general direction of the IT Systems &
Operations Manager, will supervise staff
members in the Enterprise Information
Management business unit.
Job
Description:
The
Information Technology Supervisor will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Oversee,
assign, review and account for the
processes and deliverables for the
enterprise system and back-end data
quality including asset management,
engineering drawings and documents,
Computer-aided Design (CAD), Geographic
Information Systems (GIS), laboratory
information, libraries, and records
management
-
Establish
performance criteria, evaluate staff
performance ensure work quality and
adherence to established policies and
procedures.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Information Technology Supervisor Job
-
Eight
years of increasingly responsible
information technology experience
including three years at a level
comparable to a Senior Information
Technology Analyst with the
District, and two years of lead
supervisory or project management
responsibility
-
Experience in general engineering,
GIS, maintenance management, and
document/records management is
desirable
-
Possession of, or the ability to
obtain, an appropriate, valid
driver’s license
-
Demonstrated strong leadership and
supervisory abilities.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
college or university with major
course work in computer science,
information systems, business
administration, or a related field

Possession of information technology
industry recognized certifications.
