Information Technology Specialist Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Information Technology Specialist will provide general and light IT for the Company employees, and when requested, provide addition support for the IT needs of the Company. He/She will be responsible for specifically assigned projects as determined by the CFO. 

Job Description:

The Information Technology Specialist will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems

  • Answer user inquiries regarding MSOffice and Windows software or hardware operation to resolve problems

  • Set up equipment for employee use, perform or ensure proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software

  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service

  • Perform various network roles

  • MSOffice training to employees. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Information Technology Specialist Job

  • Detail oriented
  • Good language, communication, and computer skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and work independently
  • Strong work ethic and take pride in one’s work
  • Demonstrated good rapport with others
  • Effective communication and accuracy.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Information Technology Specialist Job

  • Bachelor's degree.
