life-cycle tasks including analysis,
design, coding, testing, documentation
and implementation for new systems and
modification of existing applications

general IT functions such as server
maintenance, providing PC support to end
users and LAN support.

Knowledge of server, network,
computer and peripheral equipment
capabilities to evaluate user needs
and to develop specific applications

Strong object oriented PHP skills
and solid understanding of HTML, CSS
and JavaScript (AJAX and/or JSON)

3+
years experience in software
development using SVN in a LAMP
environment

Mixed
operating system environment
experience
-
SQL
knowledge and relational database
design
-
Ability to create and modify SQL
tables
-
Ability to review, analyze and
resolve production/scheduling
problems
-
Ability to read, interpret and
implement established specifications
-
Ability to apply problem solving
skills to perform corrective action

Ability to analyze the business
needs of the agency, establish
priorities and implement appropriate
solutions

Skill
in the development of business
applications with a solid
understanding of business reasons
behind coding

Excellent interpersonal,
communication and organization
skills

Thorough understanding of HTML
standards and documents

Ability to work independently in a
deadline driven environment

Linux
and Apache configuration and
maintenance experience

Experience with Apache and PHP
Extensions

Experience and understanding of
cross browser compatibility issues

Ability to perform coding for bug
fixes, new development

Comfortable with command line
