Job Summary:
The
Information Technology - Project Manager will be responsible for
developing solutions that provide new
functionality and services for the
business. He/She will perform management
of on and off shore resources for
successful delivery of solutions.
The
Information Technology - Project Manager
will be responsible for producing and
tracking of the project schedule and
communicating status to all levels of
management. He/She will provide a single
point of contact for the project and
assuming responsibility for deliverables
through the full lifecycle of the
project. He/She will partner with other
areas of organization to understand
dependencies and any potential impacts
to the project timeline.Job

The
Information Technology - Project Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Manage
small scale projects utilizing the
system development lifecycle methodology
-
Define
request justification and gather system
estimates for new initiatives working
with the client and corresponding IT
team(s)
-
Facilitate technical realization of
functional design with the technical
team
-
Perform
project cost benefit analysis, prepare
economic justification assessment for
capital projects
-
Develop,
document and execute a standard project
plan, utilizing approved tools and
methodology
-
Collaborate with the business to define
scope of initiative, deliver on project
goals, manage expectations, and ensure
business deliverables are met
-
Use
disciplined approach to understand,
define, and document business and
functional requirements. Uses tools to
map processes and identify opportunities
for improvement and streamlining
-
Partner
with the business to analyze vendor
products (hardware and software)
determining associated costs,
functionality, and benefits
-
Make
recommendations and prepare comparison
analysis for corporate review
-
Work with
cross-functional teams to obtain
estimates for project initiation and
manage to those estimates through
project lifecycle
-
Determine
resource needs to deliver project and
work with Management teams for resource
assignments
-
Conduct
cross-functional status meetings, manage
issues and risks
-
Communicate project status and risks to
senior level management.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

3-5
years experience in driving and
documenting business requirements
-
7
years of combined work experience as
a BA and Project Manager for
software development and integration
projects
-
Strong ability to understand
business needs and transform them
into technical requirements
-
Ability to manage multiple
assignments with competing
priorities
-
Strong knowledge of system
development methodology and
disciplined approach to business
analysis and quality assurance.
Strong ability to analyze systems
and diagram functional flows and
processes
-
Strong oral and written
communication and interpersonal
skills
-
Strong organizational and analytical
skills
-
Ability to work in a team
environment
-
Ability to support ongoing
relationship with vendors and manage
service level agreements
-
Ability to create and execute test
plans and test cases to ensure
results are consistent with business
requirements.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Information Technology - Project Manager Job

Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Information Systems or Management,
specialized computer systems
training or equivalent.

PMI
certification preferred.
