The
Information Technology Manager will
be responsible for leading the
information technology department,
evaluate and propose technology
solutions while consistently providing
technical expertise and support for all
aspects of Company client’s personal
computer and iSeries network systems.

Information Technology Manager will perform

Manage
and integrate employee activities across
Information Technologies including
infrastructure design and
administration, application analysis and
design, information management,
architecture, computing security,
computing project support and/or process
analysis
Develop
and execute project and process plans,
implements policies and procedures and
set operational goals
Acquire
resources for projects and processes,
provide technical management of
suppliers and lead process improvements
Develop
and maintain relationships and
partnerships with customers,
stakeholders, peers, partners and direct
reports
Provide
oversight and approval of technical
approaches, products and processes
Manage
and provide developmental opportunities
for employees
Manage
the IT function and coordinate
interfaces with Government systems
Consistently and proactively review
processes to identify gaps between
requirements and current outputs with
fellow K level managers, other people
throughout the organization, and
external customers
Consistently and proactively identify
potential conditions that contribute to
gaps or key variances; explore
relationships between conditions and
effects; distinguish causes from
symptoms and identify primary causes
Consistently and proactively generate
ideas for solutions; analyze the effect
or impact of each solution; select
appropriate solutions
Consistently and proactively test
solutions
Gather feedback from fellow K level
managers, other people throughout the
organization and external customers
Review impact on baseline measures;
modify solutions as appropriate to
ensure effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Information Technology Manager Job
Apply
detail knowledge of IT architectural
concepts, principles, standards,
tools, techniques, and software
development lifecycle methodologies
Knowledge of different IT
disciplines (e.g., infrastructure,
information, application, security,
system management, system
integration) in support of project
or work group statement of work
General knowledge of risk management
principles and tools (e.g.,
frequency and effect matrix) and the
ability to apply them in simple
situations to determine necessary
and cost effective fire protection
Experience within maintenance AND
operation of an ERP system
Significant experience providing
support to personal computer users
and troubleshooting and repairing
desktop and laptop computers
Experience administrating and
maintaining Local Area Networks
Overseeing and sustaining Microsoft
Windows Active Directory
5 to
10 years’ experience managing an
information technology staff of
three to five technicians
Responsible for successful
maintenance and operation of an ERP
system
Knowledge of the .mil network and
army information systems
Working knowledge and a minimum of
10 years experience in the
performance of automated information
systems activities directly related
to systems design, analysis,
programming, evaluation, development
of formal top level specifications,
and certification and testing of
information management systems to
include telecommunications and
office automation applications.

Bachelor of Science in Information
Technology or related 4 year
technical degree.
