Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Information Technology - Information
Systems Security Officer Job

Technical experience working with
Windows operating systems;
configuration of security and
auditing settings; installation of
software, patches and service packs
-
Knowledgeable of Defense Security
Service (DSS), and Certification and
Accreditation (C&A) processes
-
Understanding of the NISPOM Chapter
8 requirements
-
Experience developing and
maintaining IS security plans,
policy, and procedures for Stand
alone and Local Area Network
Information Systems
-
Troubleshoot and investigate
information system security
violations and prepare reports to
include corrective actions for
deficiencies
-
Provide briefing and training to
other ISSO’s to ensure they receive
the necessary technical and security
training to carry out their duties
-
Perform other duties as assigned and
provide administrative and customer
service support to staff and clients
utilizing excellent verbal and
written communication skills
-
2 - 5
years of relevant experience.
