Job Summary:
The
Information Technology Engineer -
Defense Services and Solutions will
be responsible for applying an
enterprise-wide set of disciplines and
processes for planning, analyzing,
designing, constructing, and
implementing information engineering for
logistics systems. He/She will develop
analytical and computational techniques
and methodology for problem solutions.
The
Information Technology Engineer -
Defense Services and Solutions will
perform process and data modeling in
support of the systems planning and
analysis efforts, using manual and
automated tools. He/She will employ
reverse engineering and reengineering
disciplines to develop migration and
planning documents. He/She will
supervise information engineers assigned
to support system development or
analysis efforts.

The
Information Technology Engineer -
Defense Services and Solutions will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Plan,
analyze, design, construct, and
implement information engineering for
logistics systems
-
Use
analytical and computational techniques
and methodology for problem solutions

Perform
process and data modeling in support of
the systems planning and analysis
efforts
-
Develop
migration and plan documents through
reverse engineering and reengineering
disciplines
-
Supervise
information engineers assigned to
support system development or analysis
efforts.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Information Technology Engineer -
Defense Services and Solutions Job
-
5 to
7 years’ experience in managing
implementation of information
engineering projects
-
5 to
7 years’ experience in systems
analysis, design, and programming
-
Prefer experience in military
logistics systems, particularly
joint logistics systems
-
Current and active U.S. Secret
security clearance preferred
-
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and
written communication skills
-
Sound
business ethics, including the
protection of proprietary and
confidential information
-
Ability to work with all levels of
internal staff, as well as outside
clients and vendors
-
Excellent problem solving skills
with ability to analyze situations,
identify existing or potential
problems and recommend solutions
-
Superior interpersonal skills
including courtesy, professionalism,
and a cooperative attitude
-
Proficiency in MS Office
Applications (Word, PowerPoint,
Outlook, Excel).
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Information Technology Engineer -
Defense Services and Solutions Job

B.A. or
B.S. degree plus 3 years of equivalent
experience in a related field
-
Associates degree plus 5 yrs of
experience, or 7 yrs experience is also
acceptable
-
Professional certification accepted in
lieu of degree.
