Information Technology Consultant will
be responsible for providing IT
strategic leadership and vision by
planning and directing all activities
related to delivering effective and
efficient IT services to users across
the organization.

The
Information Technology Director will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Ensure
optimal functioning of IT and
related business systems in
accordance with all corporate and
division policies and procedures,
legal and regulatory compliance
Direct the activities of the IT
functions, including but not limited
to: the operations center, network
administration, database
administration, IT security,
business systems (optimization,
testing and maintenance),
telecommunications administration
and the help desk
Direct all IT personnel related
activities including staffing,
retention, performance management,
resource allocation, staff
development and training. Is
cognizant of the competencies/skills
required to ensure goals are
achieved; effectively celebrates
team success
Develop and execute the IT strategic
plan to maximize business outcomes
Provide technical leadership and
insight to assist staff with problem
resolution and prioritization of
projects with the highest impact to
the division
Identify emerging information
technologies and recommend
strategies for enhancing the
division's IT infrastructure
Analyze problems and capabilities to
develop solutions for improved
operating procedures, alternate
processing methods, communications,
information flow, management
reporting, and operational
efficiency.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

years progressive Information
Technology/Systems experience
required, including at least 3 years
of Director-level IT management
experience
Previous experience managing and
directing ERP/MRP systems and
projects desired, implementation
experience is a plus
Strong analytical and logical
problem-solving skills
Great
energy and ability to energize
others while leading change
Lead
by example by setting priorities,
achieving results quickly and
efficiently, handling a multitude of
projects with attention to detail
and a high level of accuracy
Experience working in a U.S.
government manufacturing/engineering
facility, with fundamental knowledge
of Information Security Service
operations
Working knowledge of LANs, WANs,
Active Directory, SharePoint,
Desktop Support Systems, MS
Exchange, Industrial Security (DSS/NISPOM,
VMware servers, SANs, (Storage Area
Networks) Firewalls, and remote
access VPNs
Committed adherence to leadership
and ethical business conduct
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate
and present innovative solutions in
a cohesive manner to senior
leadership, corporate leadership,
and/or the supplier community
Knowledge of lean and six sigma
continuous practices
May
require travel up to 10% of the
time.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Information Technology Director Job
Bachelors
degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Business or
related technical field
ITIL/ITSM
(IT Infrastructure Library/IT
Service Management) certification
preferred.
