Job Summary:
The
Information Security Technology and
Assurance Director will lead the team
charged with providing technical
security consulting service and guidance
to the WYN enterprise environment.
He/She will serve as the primary
resource in providing security
architecture, security engineering,
security implementation, and security
research to provide WYN with a world
class information security posture for
enabling business.
The
Information Security Technology
Assurance team will work directly with
the Chief Information Officers and Lead
Business Security Architects in the
design and delivery of technical
security solutions. Job
Description:
The
Information Security Technology and
Assurance Director will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Provide
subject matter advice and guidance
on a variety of technical
information security solutions
including networks, systems, and
applications
-
Supply vision and leadership for the
development of world class security
architectures
-
Provide leadership for security
engineering projects
-
Provide technical risk assessments
and security gap assessments
-
Interact with technical and business
stakeholders to understand business
requirements in the development of
technical information security
solutions
-
Work
with technical information security
products and services vendors to
assess, test, evaluate, and
eventually select information
security products to fortify their
WYN environment
-
Research cutting edge information
security topics and vulnerabilities
to remain current with potential
industry threats to WYN business.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Information Security Technology and
Assurance Director Job
-
7-15
years of experience
-
Demonstrated professional work
history in providing information
security architecture, engineering
and/or consulting services to large
enterprise organizations
-
Ability to work effectively with
both business leaders and technology
teams to solve business problems
with technical solutions
-
Either a diverse background in many
technical security disciplines -
including network security,
application security, systems
security or wireless security or a
deep technical understanding in
either application security, network
security, systems security, or
wireless security
-
Ability to demonstrate aptitude,
interest, and passion in keeping up
with information security technical
trends, research, and current
development
-
Aptitude and desire to expand skill
set and comfort zone to other areas
of information security
-
Ability to serve as either the
project manager, technical team
lead, or engineer on many different
technical information security
projects
-
Understanding of information
security regulations, standards, and
compliance as it relates to WYN
business
-
Demonstrated commitment to the
information security profession
through advanced education,
training, certification, or industry
participation.
