Global IT Communications and Change Leader Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Global IT Communications and Change Leader will be responsible for creating and executing the required change management and communications strategy to meet the needs of Global IT. A key element of this task will be shaping and disseminating of effective and consistent messaging to all relevant stakeholders.   

Job Description:

The Global IT Communications and Change Leader will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Develop, manage and execute a Communications Plan and Framework for a global IT organization

  • Embed change effectively across the IT community with minimal impact to “business as usual” during transition

  • Liaise with CIO, IT Senior Management and other stakeholders as appropriate to advise on the implications of the organization's plans and actions taking into account trends factors which could affect the organization

  • Shape and provide effective and consistent communication of messaging across the Global IT and wider stakeholders

  • Focus on optimizing employee engagement through a range of activities e.g. conducting Global IT Staff Surveys

  • Promote a culture of innovation; continuously seek opportunities for improvement within role, processes, team and the IT organization as a whole

  • Write clear, concise targeted communications via several mediums including email, wikis, websites, conferences and other communication channels. 

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Global IT Communications and Change Leader Job

  • Demonstrated understanding of Communications & Change Management strategies along with considerable operational experience in applying these
  • Broad experience working in a global IT organization
  • Demonstrated understanding of cross cultural issues
  • Extensive understanding of the dynamics of communications in a large organization.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Global IT Communications and Change Leader Job

  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or 8 years of Communications experience.
