Job Summary:
The
Director-Information Technology User
Support will
be responsible for developing procedures
and guidelines for end user support.
He/She will develop functional
requirements for support related
software development and integration.
The
Director-Information Technology User
Support will support the goals and
projects of Network and Technology
services, particularly those related to
end user support. He/She will support
the bidding, purchasing, configuration
and distribution of campus technology.Job
Description:
The
Director-Information Technology User
Support will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Provide
coordination and communication between
students, faculty and staff and other
areas of Network and Technology Services -
Assist
Network Operations Center staff with
software installation and delivery -
Develop a
working relationship with campus
technology and the appropriate support
personnel -
Supervise
the support and centralized approach to
troubleshooting campus technology for
the following: Administrators, Faculty,
Staff, and Students -
Supervise
the functional design, support, and
maintenance of the NATS call center -
Supervise
the Online learning help center support
team -
Supervise
the management and integration of the
call center software 'Trouble Ticket' -
Coordinate return of broken parts under
warranty and the receipt/installation of
new technology equipment -
Support
and coordinate centralized support
mechanisms -
Provide
instructional support when appropriate -
Supervise
the management of the Help Desk student
workers by overseeing the planning of
their work, evaluating their work, and
assigning them to tasks as required -
Manage
the Help Desk support budget -
Direct
technical support for Company programs -
Perform
other duties and responsibilities as
assigned by the Chief Information
Officer.

Strong leadership, steady
enrollment, a renewed focus on
student development and teaching,
and several recently completed
building projects are indicators of

Significant understanding of PC
hardware, operating systems, and
software applications
-
Three
years relevant experience
-
Strong background in the areas of
network and technology services
experience in higher education area
preferred
-
Highly knowledgeable professional
with hands-on technical experience
that include team building abilities
and conflict resolution experience.
Minimum Education Requirements /

Bachelor's degree in a technology or
customer support related field.
