Job Summary:
The
Director Information Technology will
be responsible for the full scope of
Information Technology activities for
the Company's businesses. The vision for
the IT operating model will include a
strategic combination of in-house and
outsourced co-location services.
Reporting to the CFO of the parent
company, the Director of IT forms and
maintains the appropriate mix of
in-house, contracted and outsourced IT
support organizations within each of the
Company's branches with the goal to
optimize IT synergies as appropriate
across all Company businesses.
He/She
will
maintain an office presence at all
Company branches, work closely with the
executive and user teams in all branches
and be a key member of the branches'
joint IT Steering Team.Job
Description:
The
Director Information Technology will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Primary
responsibility for developing and
managing the full suite of systems
infrastructure to support the strategies
and objectives approved by the IT
Steering Team -
Recruit,
maintain and manage an ongoing core
staff team of two senior SAP Business
Development Analysts, one within each
company, along with two IT
Infrastructure personnel at each firm -
Manage
existing IT services and outsourcing
contracts including work effort
prioritization against baseline services
and budgets as well as negotiations of
renewals -
Manage
and as appropriate participate in the
delivery of all SAP related support,
maintenance and projects that are
required by the businesses -
Develop
and propose the synergistic IT strategy
for each business, along with related
capital and expense budgets and manage
the IT operation within the budgets that
are approved by business governance -
Spearhead
direct links with each firm's business
functional groups to facilitate added
value systems activities and projects -
Establish
and monitor standards for hardware,
software, methodologies and systems
compliance practices for the businesses -
Negotiate
and manage vendor contracts and
agreements for hardware, software,
software support and consulting services
services.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /

Proven and progressive success
record of a minimum ten years
supervisory and leadership
experience within the SAP business
systems environment(s)

Strong project management skills as
well as the ability to interact
credibly with the other members of
the management team will be
essential for success in this
position.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Director
Information Technology Job
University degree or equivalent
professional designation in related
business and Information Technology
disciplines preferred.
