Assist in
development of Division and Corporate
3-yr IT strategic plans

Build
positive relationships with Facility
leadership team, Facility department
directors & managers, and other Division
leaders as dictated by the business
organizational structure

Represent
IT&S on appropriate business committees

Own the
facilitation of multi-way communication
with key constituents on IT&S matters

Communicate successes, challenges,
opportunities, trends, and lessons
regarding the Facility to Division CIO
-
Cascade
all information to direct reports &
Facility-based IT&S staff through
face-to-face meetings and other
communication mechanisms

Promote
sharing of information through
documentation and distribution of best
demonstrated practices

Project
Portfolio & Project Implementation
Management: Managing the Portfolio of
Work, Managing Individual Projects

Plan &
manage select Enterprise, Division, or
Facility projects for the Facility
(including communications) as project
leader

Manage,
monitor & execute the Facility's
portfolio of projects

Coordinate and support IT aspects of
facility projects (e.g., construction,
opening satellite clinic, remodel
nursing unit)

Process
Engineering: Improvement of Workflow
through Technology, Utilization of
Technology

Understand the implications of
technology solutions to Facility
workflow & operations & communicates to
key stakeholders

Identify
process improvement opportunities &
challenge and communicate them to
appropriate Division IT leaders for
planning & action

Participate in Enterprise, Division,
&Facility process improvement
initiatives

Educate
key constituencies regarding IT
governance processes & practices

Communicate & support IT governance
processes & practices

Support
mentoring and coaching (based on KRAs
and Performance HCA) in conjunction with
direct supervisor

Help
ensure accountability of IT&S Staff
working in the Facility

Recruit,
manage, lead, develop & retain IT&S
staff in Facility, in alignment with
Division organization structure &
practices
