Director IT Business Architecture will perform
all or some of the following Job

Apply a
structured business architecture
approach and methodology for capturing
the key views of the enterprise -
Capture
the tactical and strategic enterprise
goals that provide traceability through
the organization and are mapped to
metrics that provide ongoing governance -
Describe
the enterprise by decomposing the
business into meaningful units and
processes -
Define
the set of processes that transcend the
functional and organizational boundaries
of the enterprise -
Identify
and describe external entities such as
customers, suppliers and external
systems that interact with the business;
describe the people and technology
involved in the processes -
Capture
the relationships among roles,
capabilities and business units.

years of broad IT experience with
demonstrated progression of
responsibilities

years' management or leadership
experience including people and/or
budget responsibility

Broad
knowledge of: Development of
architecture guiding principles,
standards and processes; IT
governance and operations
-
Capacity management, performance
management, and trend analysis
-
Comprehensive knowledge of hardware,
software, application and systems
engineering
-
Knowledge of financial modeling as
it pertains to IT investment, and
ability to create a business case
and ROI for a project or initiative
-
Systems thinking ability (understand
how parts interact with the whole)
-
Consultative approach and customer
service orientation
-
4
years' experience at a manager or
director level in: An IT function
for a global consumer-oriented
organization in retail, digital
business or related industry; A
multi-channel/multi-brand business
environment
-
Strong situational analysis and
decision making skills

Strong business acumen
-
Ability to take a broad,
enterprise-wide view of the business
and understand its desired end-state
business model including both
business strategy and operations

Ability to translate broad,
enterprise-wide strategies into
implications of processes and
capabilities

Experience planning and deploying
business and technology capabilities

Exceptional communication skills
with the ability to communicate to
all levels of the organization

Ability to act as a liaison
conveying the strategic needs of the
business to IT and the strategic
plan of IT to the business
