Job Summary:
The
Deliver IT Business Specialist
will
work in a team environment to
recommend and deliver technology
enabling business processes in the
areas of Inventory, Materials and
Warehouse Management. The
applications in scope include SAP R/3,
EDI (Electronic Data
Interchange), Manufacturing Execution
Systems, plus any additional
Global Supply Chain approved operating
model applications.

Description:
The
Deliver IT Business Specialist will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Participate in process improvement
sessions for the functional
and/or EDI area
Provide functional and/or EDI support
as required
Evaluate alternative procedural and
systematic solutions that
meet needs while maintaining business
standards
Ensure the business group’s needs are
being met and that
assignments are delivered on time by
participating in project/planning
meetings and communicating regularly
with team management and team
Work cohesively with other Information
Technology resources,
Business Analysts on GOMAS teams, and
COE representatives during
implementation
Provide training on new functionality
to COE and Business users
as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Deliver IT Business Specialist Job
-
3-4 years experience in
SAP R/3 with some orientation
towards the Material Movement, Sales and
Distribution and Logistic
Execution modules such as: inventory
management, shipping and
transportation, inbound processing,
outbound processing, output
determination, WM, or EDI is desirable -
Familiarity with integration
between other SAP modules, batch
management, handling units, radio
frequency (RF), picking and packing and
integration with systems like
MES is desirable
-
SAP configuration experience is
desirable.
Minimum Education Requirements /

in computer science or related field
