Client Portfolio IT Lead - Senior IT
Project Director will oversee the
planning and execution of project and/or
program activities and resources to
ensure that established cost, time, and
quality goals are met.

Client Portfolio IT Lead - Senior IT
Project Director will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Provide a
single point of contact for the Business
for concerns, escalation and issue
resolution
Own and
maintain the IT budget for the portfolio
which entails proactive oversight and
management of resources and demand
Ensure IT
practices and methodologies are being
followed and consistently practiced
Support
IT functional teams and management for
effective, efficient, and successful
project delivery/execution
Partner
closely with BIBI Portfolio Managers for
capacity planning and demand management
for the portfolio
Provide
IT direction and oversight on a complex
portfolio of BI BI investment
initiatives
Lead
business intelligence teams in
successful program/project delivery
managing scope, budget and timelines
Develop
and promote portfolio/program processes
and controls for scope, budget, risk and
issues to ensure all aspects of the
program are delivered according to the
overall plan
Manage
quality of delivered projects within
Portfolio through understanding business
needs and overseeing development to
ensure that projects deliver business
value
Partner
with Company Business in developing high
performing project teams
Manage
and positively influence team
development by mentoring members of the
portfolio team
Engage
Business Sponsors in projects and
formulate strategic partnerships
Collaborate with Business partners to
establish and sustain a one team
operating model
Appreciate, apply, and advocate for
internal standards and guidelines
Identify
changes required for projects that need
to invoke contingency plans
Manage
day to day direction and coordination of
the overall health of the portfolio
Communicate portfolio/program/project
status and health to both Business and
IT Leadership
Obtain
organizational support for required
project resources (people, equipment,
software, etc.) to meet portfolio
delivery demands and business
expectations.

Financial management skills -
experience managing multi-million
dollar budgets/projects
Strong communication skills needed

internally, externally, and across
portfolios
Ability to strategically plan and
align resources and skills to
effectively meet project demands
(experience with globally sourced
resources recommended)
Proven track record of delivering
successful business intelligence
projects that add significant value
to the business
5+
years experience in project
management in a large, matrix
corporate organization
5+
years working in business
intelligence and/or financial
systems
Working knowledge of business
intelligence tools such as Cognos,
SAS, WebFOCUS, Business Objects, or
MicroStrategy preferred
Knowledge in all technical aspects
of business intelligence including
data modeling, tools, relational
database management systems, ETL,
metadata / data management
preferred.

BS/BA
in Computer Science, MIS, Business
or other related field; MBA/MS a
plus.
