Job Summary:
The
SSM Senior Manager Global IT will be
responsible for the development of
software contracts and associated
services for Company, concentrating in
the IT area.
Job
Description:
The
SSM Senior Manager Global IT will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Support
Productivity initiatives. Develop,
track and deliver targeted BIS
Purchasing productivity objectives
-
Proactively manage the software
category and related services by
tracking spend by category and by
vendor; and develop preferred
suppliers analysis, with a goal of
reducing the total number of
software and services suppliers
while maximizing year over year
savings
-
Work
with Company and industry
specialists on supporting RFP, RFQ,
RFI, competitive bids, and
miscellaneous projects
-
Source and analyze potential M/WBE
suppliers
-
Support the development of global
agreements with major suppliers and
achieve maximum leverage of the
supplier's capabilities for Company
-
Work
closely with the Company Law
department to ensure full Company
leverage and protection through the
development of solid agreements
-
Develop regular communications with
clients, including semi-annual
executive updates.

Demonstrated solid vendor
negotiation and personal time
management skills

Solid interpersonal skills and the
ability to work with a diverse set
of people, including executive
levels of management, International
clients and suppliers

7-10 years of experience in
purchasing and contract negotiating,
preferably in an IT or services
purchasing role
-
Willingness and ability to travel
5-10% of the time.
