The IT Systems Analyst - GIS Systems will be responsible for providing complete feasibility study including needs analysis for image acquisition strategies for various types of applications. He/She will implement and manage image databases, maps and related products.

Job Description:

• Develop and manage project proposals, resources and plans

• Assign tasks to project members

• Conduct quality assurance on project deliverables

• Test, evaluate, develop and implement new computer applications and systems

• Maintain, enhance and support existing computer applications and systems

• Implement new and maintain existing computer systems

• Support computer production systems

• Troubleshoot system problems and implement resolutions

• Develop new and enhance existing computer systems

• Test and evaluate computer systems

• Evaluate and test off-the-shelf products to ensure their applicability to corporate business requirement

• Review and analyze user request for computer and communication systems, and recommend solutions to meet customer requirements

• Design, develop, test, install, customize and troubleshoot information security systems and solutions to ensure protection of IT assets,
  business functions and requirements

• Manage data center facilities infrastructure, and support relevant upgrade projects

• Perform support to operations monitoring of IT systems and problems response and resolution

• Analyze and approve changes to computing infrastructures

• Adhere to security and safety regulations and rules

• Provide continuous improvement feedback on IT operation and support

• Provide continuous improvement feedback on implemented Business Processes. 

• Ability to conduct technical reviews of GIS systems involving imagery, remote sensing and photogrammetry applications
• Ability to perform image processing analysis and integrates image related products into GIS mapping projects
• Ability to conduct pre-processing different image types including radiometric & geometric correction
• Ability to conduct image analysis and manipulation including mosaicking & color balancing, classification, feature extraction, band rationing
• Ability to provide technical assistance and training to user departments
• Ability to write documentation on procedures, standards and training requirements
• Ability to perform digital image processing including: Image rectification, satellite image manipulation, aerial photo interpretation and data analysis
• Ability to plan and coordinate satellite image acquisition
• Ability to provide technical support & training for image manipulation.

• B.Sc. Degree in Cartography, Surveying, Environment, Geometrics, Geography, Geology, Urban Planning, Mathematics, or related fields,
  plus post graduate degree in GIS/Remote Sensing and 10+ years of relevant experience.
