The
IT Site Manager
will be responsible for managing
production infrastructure in a
corporate, engineering environment.
He/She will supports the implementation
of new technologies, assures high
availability of systems and the
recoverability of systems through the
application of current corporate best
practices. The IT Site manager will also
enforces security, privacy and change
controls in all systems, and identify
and implement opportunities for
cost-savings and process improvements.

IT Site Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Manage infrastructure, including
servers, desktop PCs, email,
telecom, network and service desk,
data centers
Work
closely with headquarters IT teams
to ensure that the implement
solutions meet the local and
regional requirements
Build
a knowledgeable and responsive IT
team to meet the demands of the fast
growing offices
Ensure all systems are appropriately
documented, maintained and
recoverable
Ensure reliable support coverage for
all systems
Ensure that appropriate security and
privacy controls are in place
Enforce standard operating
procedures governing the operations
of systems, and ensure that daily IT
operations are functioned in the
most effective manner
Work
closely with other IT Site managers,
IT Regional managers, IT Functional
managers and their teams to
continually share or adopt best
practices.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For IT Site Manager Job
10
years experience in IT with minimum
of 4 years experience managing R&D
offices
Hands-on familiarity or
understanding of current IT systems,
including Microsoft
Windows/Exchange, HP
servers/desktop, Cisco hardware,
VOIP, NetApp & DataDomain and other
backup solutions
Working experience on Blackberry
Enterprise Server and Blackberry
devices
Excellent technical skills, strong
analytical and diagnostics skills
Technical knowledge on how
firewalls, proxies, software
distribution, asset management,
network infrastructures works
Strong vendor management and project
management skills
Motivated self-starter and ability
to work autonomously
Ability to prioritize and manage
multiple concurrent tasks
Ability to adapt quickly to new
situations and changing processes in
the fast pace environment
Strong and effective interpersonal
skills
Ability to rapidly develop policies,
procedures, and workflow from best
practices and/or pre-existing
internal documents
Excellent oral, written and
communication skills
Process
driven with experience managing
diverse IT teams that provide IT
services that are measured and
conform with negotiated service
level agreements.
