The
IT Senior Manager - Lab - Data Center
Manager
will be responsible for the day to day
running of the Company's Lab / Data
Center. He/She will be responsible for
ensuring that the lab network and
systems achieve the highest level of
availability.

The
IT Senior Manager - Lab - Data Center
Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Coordinate a team of engineers and
technicians in the development,
consolidation, support, and
build-out of the Company's Data
Centers
-
Provide ongoing technical and
leadership expertise in supporting
the Data Centers, including growth
and scalability requirements
-
Provide vendor management and vendor
selections
-
Serve
as a Data Center liaison to PG
Development teams, QA Test team and
onsite Facilities management
-
Responsible for notifying and
coordinating projects directly
affecting business users
-
Responsible to assist in creating
technology standards for production
related systems
-
Establish a professional working
relationship with other team members
and management staff
-
Conduct Monthly Data Center Audits
and ensure that all Business
controllers are meet by teams that
occupies the Data Center / Labs
-
Plan,
coordinate and manage installation
and maintenance activities
-
Develop an on call 24 hour Data
Center Operations management to
ensure the Data Center Facility is
always functional
-
Operations Management - Accountable
for day to day service such as
incident, problem, change, capacity
-
Seek
ongoing consolidation,
virtualization, and efficiency based
improvements.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

Center Manager Job

Experience working with systems
infrastructure including hardware
configuration, operating systems and
networks
-
Experience working with software,
systems, applications, and network
markets
-
Experience working with technology
involved in systems applications,
personal computer networks and usage
of company internet system
-
Nine
or more years of supervisory or
management experience included
-
Twelve or more years of data center
administration experience
-
Ability to effectively communicate
complex DC issues in management
-
Ability to work with personnel at
all levels, DC Strategy
organizations, and Vendor / Contract
organizations to drive SLA
commitments
-
Working Knowledge on Incident
Management, IT Service Continuity
Management and Service Level
Management Processes
-
Ability to cover 24 x 7 Management
escalations for Service calls
-
5+
years of managerial experience for
data center operations
-
Strong
management ability and the technical
knowledge to manage data center site
operations.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
IT Senior Manager - Lab - Data Center
Manager Job

Master's degree or equivalent
combination of education and
experience.
