Job Summary:
The
IT Security and Compliance Analyst
will be responsible for executing
security controls to prevent hackers
from infiltrating company information or
jeopardizing e-commerce programs and
research attempted efforts to compromise
security protocols.
He/She will
maintain and
monitor
security relevant infrastructure
components and collaborate with IT
operations. The
IT Security and Compliance Analyst will
administer security
policies to control access to systems
including the company's firewalls.
Job
Description:
The
IT Security and Compliance Analyst will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Use
applicable encryption methods
-
Provide
information to management regarding the
negative impact on the business caused
by violation of confidentiality,
integrity or availability of information
and information systems
-
Implement centralized logging for
network and security infrastructure
-
Audit user and system security
configurations for compliance with
internal and external requirements
-
Recommend process improvement
-
Understand ISO27000 series of standards
and Sarbanes Oxley rules surrounding IT
-
Understand the application of security
concepts across a broad scope of
information technology areas including
data communications, network design,
operations, database structures,
operating systems, application
development, security risk assessment,
and disaster recovery
-
Understand security/controls risk vs.
business impact in decision making
-
Perform audits and follow-up on
corrective actions.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For IT Security and Compliance Analyst Job

years of IT Security experience
including network protocols,
operating systems and encryption
methods
-
Travel: 10 - 30%.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
IT Security and Compliance Analyst Job

Bachelor's degree
required, preferred in Information
Technology, Computer Science or MIS.
