The IT
Project Management Advisor will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Manage multiple concurrent projects
focused on the delivery of necessary
applications and technical solutions
-
Identify scope and delivery
requirements, document requirement,
develop budgets, and obtain customer
approvals
-
Coordinate business needs and
changes with various vendors
-
Work
with IT support teams to implement
new services and transition projects
into a steady-state support model.

10+ years
of relevant experience or equivalent
combination of education and work
experience
Strong
organizational skills
5+ years
of project management experience
7+ years
of IT experience
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
using the English language
Experience in a matrix resourced
organization
Experience working within the entire
project lifecycle – Feasibility,
Initiation, Planning, Execution and
Shutdown
Formal
class room training in these project
management disciplines: Introduction to
project management, Project workshop
facilitation, Project estimation,
Project execution, Program management
office
Ability
to accomplish all work within PM skills
areas with ease, dependability, and
repeatability
Advanced
proficiency with standard project
management tools - Microsoft Project,
Project Server, Primavera, all Microsoft
Office applications etc.
Exceptional written and verbal
communications skills including
experience with executive level
presentations and interactions
Experience working within both a
project-centric and project matrix
environments
Ability
to recognize exceptions to documented
policy and procedures
Ability
to monitor schedule deviations and
assist in the development of alternative
methods for corrective action at the
project level
Working
knowledge of quality assurance methods,
tools, and techniques
Experience evaluating products /
services from multiple vendors and
produce written vendor solution
recommendations detailing candidates;
benefits and drawbacks.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For IT Project

Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years
relevant experience or Graduate
degree and 6-8 years relevant
experience

PMP
certification preferred.
