IT Manager - Permanent will be
responsible for managing IT Department
operations, projects and infrastructure
and provide administrative direction and
hands-on support for IT-related
activities.

The
IT Manager - Permanent will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Establish an annual operating budget
for the IT Department and monitor
and manage expenditures accordingly
-
Develop and implement IT policies,
procedures, and industry-standard
best practices
-
Evaluate system vulnerabilities and
implement and maintain appropriate
security controls
-
Provide hands-on end user support,
service and maintenance to all
systems applications, hardware and
telecommunications
-
Conduct regular systems analysis and
run backup and disaster recovery
systems
-
Manage IT-related projects and
development in a hands-on capacity
and in collaboration with the
General, Manager, department
managers and vendors
-
Manage hardware and software
inventories
-
Maintain legal compliance and
historical records for all software
program licenses
-
Evaluate IT vendor products and
services, negotiate contracts with
selected vendors and recommend final
selection to the General Manager
-
Develop and maintain professional
business relationships with
vendors/program providers.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

years experience in a leadership
role managing IT projects,
computers, networking, and
communications systems

Proficiency in IT operations,
budgeting, and staffing
-
Proficiency in networking, data
center, security and voice
communications systems
-
Ability to manage vendors, projects,
and timeline requirements
-
Strong organizational and oral and
written communications skills
-
Ability to meet fixed deadlines
-
Strong customer service experience
-
Ability to work indoors and/or
outdoors, consistently stand and
walk, bend and stoop, and handle
and/or move objects weighing up to
40 lbs.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Science or equivalent experience.
