Job Summary:
The
IT Information Architect will be
responsible for
working with the business users and
other architects to develop the overall
system and database level architecture.Job
Description:
The
IT Information Architect will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Develop
architectural approach to meet key
business objectives, including data,
data integration, system, and ETL
architectural approaches
-
Develop
diagrams and flows to illustrate
architectural complexities and
interactions
-
Participate in analyzing and
interpreting user requirements into
architecture and design specifications
for data integration services
-
Contribute to the requirements analysis
and high-level data flow design for the
Clinical Reporting Platform data
integration
-
Work with
other architects in defining software /
hardware requirements and in planning
and delivering infrastructure
-
Work with
business owners, analysts, solution
engineers, development teams and
infrastructure services to communicate
application and data, data INTEGRATION
and ETL architectures
-
Ensure
project successfully implements the
designed solution following
architectural tenets
-
Conduct
vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts
for new technologies/solutions
-
Help
assess the planning for retirement of
products and migration plans for the
functional evolution of the system
infrastructure
-
Perform development and implementation
of data warehouses.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For IT Information Architect Job
-
5+
years Oracle DBMS - DBA within a
data warehousing environment
-
3+
years ETL tool experience
-
Highly database-literate
professional preferred
-
Teradata experience preferred
-
Infrastructure knowledge /
understanding of SAN / AWS / storage
/ server technologies
-
Development experience
-
Experience with Informatica
PowerCenter / PowerExchange
preferred
-
A
fair mix of hands-on experience with
database / infrastructure
architecture and communication
skills.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
IT Information Architect Job

Bachelor's Degree OR HS diploma/GED
and 10+ years IT work experience.
