Job Summary:
The
IT Business Manager - IT Resource
Manager will be
responsible for driving the IT
organization's workforce planning
efforts, inclusive of location strategy
and sourcing strategy, partnering with
Shared Services Resource Management and
HR. He/She will drive strategy, define
requirements and be the IT subject
matter expert for the IT Career Path
Framework and the IT College Recruiting
Program; foster their maturity within
the IT organization.

The
IT Business Manager - IT Resource
Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
Workforce Strategy and Supporting
Analytics
Understand both short and long term
business strategy and work force
implications in terms of required
talent, as well as the range of
viable economic, business and labor
market scenarios that impact talent
priorities
Collaborate with the IT Senior
Leadership, HR and the Shared
Services Resource Management team:
Build out the required number,
quality, location, cost and time
frame to have enough (but not
excessive) capabilities to meet
business targets. Deliverables
include (but are not limited to) a
location strategy and a sourcing /
off-shoring strategy; Project
headcounts and costs and leveraging
historical employee data to identify
key issues for roles, competencies,
locations, career levels, etc.;
Identify and prioritize gaps between
talent demand and both current and
projected talent supply, considering
various economic, business and labor
market conditions; Define a targeted
strategy to address talent gaps that
considers all aspects of the
employment "life cycle" including
attraction, engagement, performance,
development, succession, retention
and transition out of the
organization, with measureable
action plans to track progress
Define requirements and identify
relevant people metrics that measure
performance and effectiveness of the
IT business and IT managers
Collaborating with HR, analyze,
diagnose and present progress
against metric targets, and then
support the IT Senior Leadership
team to create and track resulting
actions
Deliver requirements to build upon
the technology infrastructure so
that it delivers information and
knowledge that supports the IT's
human capital / workforce strategy
Drive
consistency in human capital
information/metrics reporting across
all IT departments as well as ensure
alignment between IT and other
corporate entities; feed
requirements into central reporting
function
Seek
and provide ongoing knowledge/best
practices sharing when relevant or
required to optimize IT decision
making and value creation
Establish a communication feedback
program with all relevant
stakeholders
Seek
ongoing efficiencies and provide
recommendations to enhance IT
workforce management
Raise
awareness /educate IT departments
and other key stakeholders on IT
workforce management processes,
tools and value proposition; support
IT workforce management
communication needs
Steer
the completion of the development of
the IT Career Path Framework; own
and be accountable for its ongoing
maintenance and evolution so that it
continuously meets the objective of
advancing employees' ability to
manage their careers at
the Organization
Develop the strategy and define the
requirements for an IT College
Recruiting Program; partner with HR
to execute against the strategy
Administer the IT College Recruiting
program, with responsibilities that
include (but not limited to): Manage
the matching process of program
participants to IT rotation
opportunities; Define training
requirements and monitor program
participants compliance to those
requirements;Plan / schedule culture
building and networking events for
program participants; Design,
develop and implement IT-specific
programs that improve employee
engagement.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

7+ years' experience in
financial services technology
resource management
Proven ability to lead and
influence top company leaders
through communication and data

Strong business acumen and
