The IT Business Analyst will act as an interface between business user groups and IT to understand, document, and track the business needs and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description:

• Identify, analyze, define, and document detailed requirements to support project and business objectives

• Leverage knowledge of application features and functions to assess scope and impact of business needs

• Collaborate with user experience, business groups, overseas development team, project management, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle

• Participate in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions

• Provide product expertise to client groups, acting as a resource in understanding how ecommerce systems perform business and user functions

• Lead the development of documentation templates and document management tools

• Participate in QA testing; identify requirement gaps and resolutions.

• 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an ecommerce environment
• Business knowledge in the retail ecommerce industry with a focus on at least one of the following: front-end systems, customer service portal, accounting systems, warehouse management software, merchandising, or marketing tools
• Knowledgeable in technical data analysis, functional design, data modeling, system development processes, and software testing
• Advanced interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills with the ability to be the communication bridge between business users and technology
• Customer focused with high quality standards; proven track record
• Complex thinker, analytical with strong problem-solving and decision making skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly independent self-starter with both a strong technical background as well as hands on experience with requirement management, functional specification and use case development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a college or university.
