Description:
The
IT Associate - Quality Assurance
Software Testing will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Perform
analysis of functional and detail design
documents to assist in developing test
plans and test scenarios for
requirements of low complexity under the
guidance of an Intermediate QA Analyst
or a Senior QA Analyst
-
Help
identify requirement specific impacts
and exception testing strategies for
inclusion into release level test
execution plan
-
Participate in meetings with
applications and users both within and
external to billing applications to
review and validate test approaches and
coverage
-
Perform
follow up to review test results and
gain resolution on issues/defects
discovered during test
-
Assist
with the execution of automated scripts
and user initiated jobs during release
test cycles.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

Software Testing Job

Entry
level knowledge or experience in
quality assurance software testing
concepts
-
Fundamental knowledge of the system
development life cycle and
understanding of basic application
development concepts and practices
-
Analytical and technical skills are
required to design and develop test
scripts based on requirements and
system specification documents
-
Creative individual who is able to
demonstrate innovation in their
problem solving techniques
-
Good
written and verbal communication
skills
-
Knowledge of Mercury Quick Test
Professional, MS Access, Visual
Basic and/or other automated
scripting tools a plus
-
Familiar with use of Serena Business
Mashups defect management tool.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science/related discipline or the
equivalent in education and work
experience.
