Job Summary:
The
ADEX- Information Technology Consultant will
be responsible for the design,
development, implementation,
integration, migration, and management
of a nationally deployed Microsoft
ACTIVE DIRECTORY (AD) and Microsoft
Exchange Server (EX) enterprise network
(COTS products).
He/She will
support
performance optimization,
inter-operability, capacity planning,
operational redundancy, contingency
planning, integration, and operations of
all components-hardware, and software in
the AD/EX architecture.
The
ADEX- Information Technology Consultant
will
assist in developing new methods or
approaches, or in solving complex
problems and meeting objectives.Job
Description:
The
ADEX- Information Technology Consultant will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Working in close coordination with
the current AD/EX Engineering team
provide operational performance
engineering support -
Perform maintenance of the AD/EX
enterprise infrastructure with
enterprise management tools -
Provide technical expertise during
design, development, test, and
implementation of AD/EX and on all
matters related to AD/EX
administration and information
system design, development and
administration -
Provide feedback and briefings to
the information technology (IT)
community on activities involving
all aspects of systems
administration and information
system design and development of the
AD/EX network -
Help
the support center in determining
hardware, software, and data
communication configurations based
on review and analysis of functional
requirements for the support center -
Coordination with other offices to
achieve integrated systems
administration for information
system design and development -
Provide systems support and training
to local site system administrators -
Work
with other offices in the
preparation of strategic and
tactical plans, working within
established support center policies
and procedures.

Extensive experience in managing,
designing and implementing Windows
2003 AD Domains

Experience in managing, supporting
and implementing Exchange 2003

Good
understanding of Microsoft COTS
products

Flexibility and willingness to
occasionally work at customer
location

Ability to work as part of a close
team

Ability to think and act to solve
problems/situations as they arise

Self-motivation and versatility

Excellent written and oral

Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For

Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum of 6+
years of experience and/or related
certifications, including Enterprise
level AD and Exchange experience
